School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Colorado
A K-8 educational setting in Aurora, CO, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services during the current school year. The position is onsite and open to SLPs, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. This contract role begins December 1, 2025, and concludes May 29, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conducting assessments, evaluations, and referrals
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 meetings
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Managing a caseload of approximately 35-40 students with a range of mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs
Preferred candidate qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification or appropriate licensure
- Experience working with K-8 school-age populations
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize direct student services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
- Compliance with any required pre-employment screening processes
Work Schedule and Location:
- Onsite position in Aurora, CO
- Contracted hours between 37.5 and 40 hours per week; part-time options considered
