Speech Language Pathologist in Arvada, CO
Exciting opportunity for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a K-8 school setting in Arvada, CO. This contract position, running from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026, offers a comprehensive caseload of 35-40 students ranging from mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC credential (Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Experience working in schools with K-8 students
- Must be an SLP on a state license; candidates with CF or SLPA credentials cannot be considered
- Ability to provide direct speech-language services and conduct consultations
- Competent in conducting assessments, evaluations, and participating in IEP or 504 meetings
- Familiarity with mild/moderate to moderate/severe caseloads preferred
- Must be prepared to complete a prescreen call and interview as part of the hiring process
Location:
- Position based in Arvada, Colorado within a K-8 educational setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across the caseload
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing expert consultation
- Manage referrals and follow-up with students and families as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state education department requirements
Contract Details and Hours:
- Contract duration: December 1, 2025 to May 29, 2026 (school year contract)
- Weekly hours: 37.5 to 40 hours per week
