A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in Arlington, TX for the current school year. This role involves providing direct therapy and assessment services to enhance communication skills in a diverse student population.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and compliance activities as required by regulations
