A full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Arcadia, LA. This role supports students from December 1 through May 22 during the current school year. The position is onsite at Saline High School and involves managing a full caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Eligible or currently licensed to practice as an SLP in Louisiana; willingness to obtain licensure and travel is a plus
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively and collaboratively
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies
