A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Redford, MI, supporting a specialized setting for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This contract role offers approximately 22 hours per week over three days, starting as soon as possible through June 11, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload of approximately 25 students within an ASD setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license
- Required certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably within ASD or similar special education environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to onsite work schedule (no remote option)
