School Speech Language Pathologist - Saint Paul, Minnesota
A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide maternity leave coverage within an elementary school setting in the Saint Paul area. This contract role is ideal for licensed professionals who hold a Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certificate and are interested in supporting early learners with communication needs.
Responsibilities include delivering speech and language services to students across multiple caseloads in elementary schools located in Brooklyn Center, Coon Rapids, and Blaine. Coverage periods and caseload percentages vary as follows:
- 0.6 FTE from mid-December to late March, with up to 0.2 FTE virtual, serving an elementary school in Brooklyn Center.
- 0.7 FTE from early January through the end of May, with up to 0.6 FTE virtual, at an elementary school in Coon Rapids.
- 1.0 FTE from late January to mid-March, with up to 0.2 FTE virtual, serving an elementary school in Blaine.
The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, offering approximately 37.5 hours per week. It is important for virtual providers to confirm they are currently working an assignment in Minnesota, adhering to state regulations limiting work to no more than 40 hours per week.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Education Certification for SLP.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience providing school-based speech-language pathology services.
- Eligibility to work in Minnesota and understanding of state-specific practice regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to varied educational settings.
