Speech Pathology - Anaheim, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Anaheim, CA. This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and offers a structured and supportive work environment designed to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with case managers who oversee IEP timelines and coordinate meetings.
- Report regularly to both SLP training specialists and the lead SLP, who offers weekly office hours for guidance.
- Manage caseloads carefully, with district efforts to maintain caseloads between 50-60 students.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is preferred.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) with a commitment to student success and team collaboration.
