We have K-12 openings, offering you the chance to work with diverse student populations across various grade levels. We're committed to providing a supportive environment with comprehensive supervision designed to help you excel and achieve your ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments under supervision, interpreting results and contributing to evaluation reports.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a variety of communication disorders.

Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other school personnel to integrate communication goals into the educational setting.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and IEPs.

Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and learning from experienced team members.

Adapt therapy activities and strategies to suit the developmental stages and diverse needs of students across the K-12 spectrum.

Actively engage in weekly supervision sessions, seeking guidance and feedback to enhance clinical skills and meet CFY requirements.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.

Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) status in Michigan.

Michigan state licensure or temporary licensure for CFY is REQUIRED prior to start date.

Michigan Teaching Certificate is highly preferred, or willingness to obtain one as per Michigan Department of Education requirements for school-based SLPs (guidance will be provided).

Strong foundational knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to continuous learning.
