A school district near Independence, MO is currently interviewing Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs or SLPAs) for a part time contract position for the upcoming school year. This school position would work with6-8th grade students with various disabilities.

Job Duties:

• Treat language, speech, swallowing, and communication disorders to elementary grade students at 1 school site
• The SLP will provide therapy, manage caseloads, goals, SEIS, schedule and attend IEP meetings onsite for each of their students
• This part time contract position is for either 5 half days or 2.5 days depending on preference 
• The position is for the 22-23 school year (ASAP-EOSY)
• Caseload includes students with various disabilities

Job Requirements:

• The SLP must have prior school or pediatric experience
• The SLP must have their Missouri Speech Language Pathologist or SLPA License
• Previous experience with contract positions (preferred)
