Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Mock City, WA. As an SLPA, you will support a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in providing therapy to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their educational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of an SLP.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring data accuracy.
- Support classroom teachers in understanding and reinforcing students' speech and language needs.
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Washington state SLPA certification or eligibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
