Position Overview: As a School-Based SLPA, you will have the chance to work with a diverse and motivated student population. Your role will involve assisting our licensed speech-language pathologists in evaluating and treating students with communication challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions to students.
- Assist in conducting speech and language assessments.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with educators and parents to support student success.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid California SLPA license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with K-8th grade students.
