Speech Language Pathologist 

Job Overview: ProCare Therapy is a staffing agency that is working closely with a school district in Wilmington, DE. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As an SLP, you will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention for students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges, collaborating with educators, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Details:

  • Pay Rate: $43+/HR
  • Full Time - 37.5 hours per week 
  • K-12th Grade 
  • Asap-End of School Year 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives.
  • Stay informed about best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Provide guidance and training to teachers and other staff members to support students with speech and language needs in the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with school-age children preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of current assessment tools, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
