Are you a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding opportunity in a school setting? We have an exciting position available for you.
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Blount County School District - Oneonta, AL Employment Type: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
About the Role:
In this role, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in our community. You'll be working closely with our students to provide speech and language services, fostering their communication skills and overall development. This position involves coverage for two maternity leaves and assisting other SLPs in finishing out the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (or eligible for certification)
- Alabama state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual student needs
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
- Participate in IEP meetings as necessary
