Job Description:
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be an essential part of our educational community, providing vital speech and language services to students in K-12. Your expertise will help students overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Michigan state licensure and ASHA certification.
- Prior experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
- Hours: 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM.
