Job Description:

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a School-Based SLP. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide critical services to students during a medical leave period, ensuring that their educational and developmental needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
  • Provide speech therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Stay current on best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • New Jersey state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
