Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Sherman, TX. This school-based role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with students, making a meaningful impact on their communication and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide therapy services to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Document and track student progress in compliance with school and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student goals and achievements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Texas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
