School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Philadelphia, PA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position in a school district located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The SLP will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students with a wide range of communication disorders and disabilities.
Overview:
- Full Time, will consider part-time availability
- W2 Contract for full school year
- Start: ASAP
- Virtual Interview
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with other members of the education team to develop and implement IEPs and provide support to students.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license
- ASHA CCC preferred, will consider SLP-CFY
- Previous experience working in an educational environment is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Clearances:
In order to be eligible for employment in Pennsylvania public schools, the following clearances, trainings, and forms are required upon hire--
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
- Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting
- Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24)
- School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
