Job Description:

As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, providing speech and language therapy services that are vital to their educational success. Whether you are an experienced SLP with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) ready to begin your career, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' specific needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to therapy.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Eligibility for Louisiana state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or completion of a Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with students and making a positive impact on their lives.
