Job Description: Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Gaffney, South Carolina area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions for individuals with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of South Carolina.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Experience with AAC devices
- IEP experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing techniques, and home exercise programs.
