Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in South Bend, IN. This full-time position involves working with students in grades K-5 for the entire school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping young students develop their communication skills and succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reports
- Educate and support staff and families on strategies to support communication development
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Indiana SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a K-5 setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
