 ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a passionate and talented Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team! If you are excited about working in schools and want to make a difference for local students, apply now!

Job Description:

  • Contract position through ProCare Therapy
  • Full time 
  • ASAP-End of school year
  • Elementary caseload
  • Onsite only with SLPs
  • The SLPA will assist in providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate speech and language strategies into the educational setting
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
  • Foster open and effective communication with families and teachers while providing guidance and support.

Qualifications:

  • Requires an Associates or Bachelor's Level degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Must be licensed in the state of Texas
  • School experience is preferred but not required
