Job Description:

As a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a pivotal role in empowering our diverse student community to develop effective communication skills that will shape their future success. Your expertise in speech-language therapy will contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, where students can flourish academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique goals and abilities.
  • Provide engaging and interactive therapy sessions to improve speech production, language comprehension, and social communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech-language goals into the curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide progress reports to parents and the educational team.

Requirements:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
