Hawthorne, New York - Part Time Speech Language Pathologist Needed for School-Based Position

ProCare is hiring for a Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time position in Hawthorne, New York.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders for students aged 5-21 years with varying language abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy techniques for each student based on their specific needs and goals
• Conduct 30-minute long individual and group therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' communication and language development
• Attend meetings and trainings as required by the organization
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of NY
• Prior experience working with children and adolescents with varying language abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using technology for documentation and communication purposes.
