Soliant has partnered with a highly sought after school district in Columbia, MD, and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist this school year.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Maryland SLP license, issued by Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
- 1 year of experience in school settings preferred
- W2, hourly pay of $45 to $52/hr
- Health, vision, and dental insurance

As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, a candidate's principal duties include:
- Evaluating and treating children whose communication issues (in areas such as language, articulation, fluency) impact their educational performance
- Reporting on student progress and/or developing goals as part of their Individual Education Plan
- Proposing amendments to IEPs if needed, or recommending that students be released from speech services when they meet their communication goals
- Participating in the MTSS or RTI process (Multi-tiered systems of support, or Response to Intervention) if needed
- Consulting with District staff and parents about student goals and progress
