Chicago Schools Seeking Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologists
Chicago, IL
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team for the 2024/2025 school year. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois State SLP license
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
