Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Houston, TX

To work as an SLP in Texas, candidates must have:

  • A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A current Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience working with bilingual (English/Spanish) students is highly valued.

Job Description:

Blazer Jobs is hiring a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work full-time with a 4-day work week in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for an SLP fluent in English and Spanish, who can assess and treat communication disorders while supporting bilingual students in the learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions for bilingual students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance student learning and language development.
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention strategies for students in various settings.
  • Maintain compliance with special education and state regulations.

Additional Details & Requirements:

  • MUST be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Full-time position with a 4-day work week.
