Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Austin, TX area. This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly pay, guaranteed hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.
As an SLP or SLPA with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and make a positive impact on the lives of your patients. You will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
Requirements:
- Valid Texas license as an SLP or SLPA
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (for SLP)
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program (for SLPA)
- Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the nature and extent of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services to clients, both individually and in groups
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, teachers, and families to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
