Come take a resort-style SLP job in South Carolina!  Myrtle Beach, at the center of the Grand Strand, has evolved into the resort destination of the East Coast, and has become one of the most popular travel spots in the US. The Grand Strand is a 60-mile crescent of beach that stretches from Little River to Georgetown. Little River is considered the Gateway to the Grand Strand and creates quite a visual – imagine 100 year-old huge moss-covered oak trees lining the water’s edge and many of its streets. Or visit Bomb Island on Lake Murray – where annually thousands of Purple Martins return to roost. For slow-moving water, more akin to what you might expect to find in the south, check out the Black River Swamp Preserve near Andrews. You can also visit the Edisto River, also a blackwater river, with its canoe or kayak trail covering 66 miles of wide-open floodplain.
